This is a quick HOWTO on creating the link shortener shortcut for you to trim those pesky MapQuest URLS and make it easy to send links to your friend.
Toolbar Version - Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Make sure your Links toolbar is visible. If it is not, click View · Toolbars · Links.
2. Drag the TrimIt! button below onto the toolbar.
That's it! Now next time you're ready to send a link to someone
click the TrimIt! button while you are viewing the page you want to shorten the URL for. A window
will pop up providing you with the shorter link...
Toolbar Version - Netscape 4.x & Internet Explorer (all versions)
1. Make sure your Personal Toolbar is visible. If it is not,
click View · Show · Personal Toolbar.
2. Drag the TrimIt! link below onto the toolbar.
